When people think about learning English, they usually think it is very difficult. Also, they are inclined to learn it in traditional way such as reading grammar book, or memorizing vocabulary list. But, these methods are very old and cannot helpful for learning this language because people don't like grammar and vocabulary lists.
Instead, we should find out more easy and fun ways to learn English. People like to do the things they like the most. So, we should follow this principle when learning English too. For instance, there is no a person who doesn't like to watch a movie on the world. So, you need to watch your favorite movie on English/especially with English subtitle- it is more helpful for learn new words and improve your listening skill/. For me, I like to watch "Friends" TV serial in English. Since, I watched this movie, my listening skill became better that before and I learned many useful English words and phrases. This was better than reading grammar book or listening boring listening exercises. Also, if you like anecdotes, you may try to memorize the anecdotes in English. This will be more fun than reading a text on the grammar book. What is more, if you like to listen to music, you may memorize its lyrics in English. Or, you can learn your professional languages. For example, if you are an economist, memorizing words related to economics field, and reading economics magazine in English is useful for your career and learn English actively.
What I mean is that you should try to use English in your daily activity in easy and fun way such as sing a song, watch a movie or learn your professional English. This method will help you to learn English easily.
